Please pressure Govt. of Sri Lanka to release General Sarath Fonseka who is jailed as a Political Prisoner immediately. This action by the present Govt. of President Rajapakse has completely undermined, and and eroded the trust and faith of a democratic society this Govt. promised the masses. The Judiciary system has been completely throttled by the President, and his party.
We urge the United States Govt. who has championed Human Rights issues all over this world to monitor and take suitable steps to bring the present Govt. of Sri Lanka to account for violating all human right norms in this tiny island.
