Protecting America is the first and most important duty of our federal government. With the recent announcement of the first Ebola case found in Texas, it is imperative that our US Government lock down our borders to protect its citizens until the Ebola Outbreak in Africa is under control. The United States population is compact and travel between cities, counties and states is extremely easy. This is not the case with the countries in Africa that are currently suffering from the Ebola outbreak. Additionally, the United States and CDC do not have the proper infrastructure to control an outbreak of Ebola in the US.
The United States must place all travelers entering the country from Africa into mandatory quarantine for at least the incubation period of 21 days.
