As president, Donald Trump has pledged to pass the "First Amendment Defense Act." If this act is passed it will allow open discrimination against LGBT+ people by employers, businesses, landlords and healthcare providers. Passing this act opens up the door for more anti-LGBT+ attitudes and legislation.
