Prevent any lethal intervention in Syria.

This petition is meant to serve as an urgent voice for the American people who wish to avoid military intervention in Syria. As tragic of an event this civil war has become, it must be acknowledged that atrocities have not only been committed by Assad's government forces but the rebels as well. Captured pro-government troops have been executed, Christian, Alawite, and Kurdish villagers have been massacred and their holy places desecrated, all by Syrian rebel forces. The US must not choose sides in this war for advocating either side is the same as advocating the slaughter of innocents. We the American people do not want this war and we demand that our elected representatives proceed with this conflict in accordance to our will.
