In the Guoxuan Battery Project, a big battery plant will be built in a beautiful Chinese town, Songjiang, which is one of the satellite towns of Shanghai city and has more than 1000 years history. It will have a big chance to jeopardize human’s health because of the potential pollutants: NMP toxic emission, dust and waste water. Within 2 miles around the plant, there are more than 1000 thousand residents and they did not receive any notice before this project was lead into the district. Here, we present a petition to tell the China and US government to prevent the Battery Project until enough reliable assessments have been made by independent authorities so that people's health will not be harmed and our beautiful hometown Songjiang not be damaged.
