Prevent cable companies from forming a monopoly and forcing out the foreign market (blocking bbc iplayer for usa)

cable companies are trying to block competition, such as they've done to BBC. BBC wanted to make their programs available to the US for a fee on iplayer, but the cable companies threatened to drop BBC america / try to block this- preventing any competition and essentially acting together like a monopoly to prevent this.
