Prevent children of military parents from losing both parents at the same time. Allow at least one parent to stay home.

Deployments are already stressful enough for military families. When one parent is deployed the children in those families suffer. However, when there are two parents that are active duty military, like myself and my wife, we are tasked at the same time and our child, our 2 year old child is left behind not understanding why she lost both her parents. I am petitioning that the military allow at least one parent to stay home, take care of the kids, the house, etc. Deploying is hard enough without added stressors. Especially when we claim to be a country of family values, allow at least some of the family to stay together.
