I do not believe that George Zimmerman should be prosecuted for civil rights violations.
Aside from the fact that a jury has found Zimmerman innocent; ALL MURDER, whether white against black, black against white, white against white, and black against black... is for all intent and purposes... a civil rights violation.
Because if you take a person's life... isn't that a violation of that person's rights, regardless of their skin color?
Where are the civil right prosecutions against the blacks who kill whites... prosecutions of whites who kill whites... or prosecutions of blacks that kill blacks.
This is NOT a civil rights violation.
Unless you charge EVERY person who commits murder with civil rights violations, this will just be another tragedy.
