Prevent Congress from decreasing funding to NASA. (National Aeronautics and Space Administration)

Created by L.K. on March 17, 2014

Currently, NASA receives 0.5% of tax money. Essentially, half a penny of ever tax dollar is going to NASA. With this amount of money, NASA is still able to conduct tasks in the field of Space Exploration. They have plans to build a spacecraft that will again get Americans into Space alone. They are also planning missions to land on an asteroid, and even Mars someday. If this funding was decreased, NASA could not do even the most basic of tasks. We need to maintain what we have achieved in the field of Space Exploration. We need to keep prospering on this planet, and in other places. We need to discover new horizons! We are not calling for NASA's funding to increase drastically, but a decrease in funding can not be afforded.
