As a nation of honor and justice, we cannot allow for wars we, ourselves, wouldn't die for.
We call upon President Obama to help our nation take further steps in preventing costly tragedies like Vietnam and the War in Iraq from happening again. We can do this by requiring all legislators (no matter their age, status, etc.) to serve as active duty military personnel in the wars they vote for; the same goes for our presidents authorizing military force.
With this mandate in place, any politician willing to put a soldier's life at risk must realize it may be their own. Then, they will think twice before entering the U.S. into another unjustified war.
