Special interests and lobbyists are petitioning through their legislative connections to criminalize acts that expose crime against animals on their farms and in their processing plants. Criminalizing acts that expose crime perpetuate heinous acts against animals and hold accountable those that actively seek to protect animal welfare. Especially in this day and age of humane treatment techniques for producing food in the United States, putting profit before ethics and morality not only is an injustice for the animals, but also for those actively working to provide humane conditions and treatment to these animals.
