We, the undersigned, petition President Obama to keep his campaign promise and not to include Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid in the budget negotiations. These programs are paid for by workers all their lives. They have nothing to do with the deficit. We call on the President to find another alternative to a balanced budget, such as cutting military spending.
