The work of Casey Nocket SHOULD be preserved for future generations. "National parks exist to preserve and protect our nation’s natural, cultural and historic heritage for both current and future generations. Vandalism is a violation of the law and it also damages and sometimes destroys often irreplaceable treasures that belong to all Americans."
First, Casey Nocket's work should be preserved because it is apart of the cultural and historic heritage of the United States. For example, the work not only represents one persons disregard of public resources, but also encompasses an important ideological shift towards preservation of our parks.
Second, removing the work would be vandalism in and of itself. Removing the work from the National Parks would cause more harm than letting it stay.
