As current Social Security law stands, the surviving dependents of legal residents and US citizens who commit treason/terrorism against the United States are not precluded from collecting benefits. SSA law should be changed to prevent benefits from being collected on the record of people who commit treason/terrorism against the United States. With the precedent of Fleming v. Nestor to guide us, the family members of deceased terrorists/members of subversive groups should be rendered ineligible for SSA benefits under law.
