The United States of America and Great Britain have long remained close allies, with the unparalleled, special relationship enduring to this day a cornerstone of international political strength for both great nations.
The USA has come to Britain's aid on numerous occasions over the past century, from the beaches of Normandy and the rebuilding of Britain post World War II, to the gift of Justin Bieber and the iPad. But perhaps the greatest gift that the USA has ever bequeathed to the British public was the generous act of employing Piers Morgan and thereby facilitating his move away from the UK.
