prevent the development of the Grand Canyon Escalade located inside the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona.

Created by D.C. on August 17, 2014

According to National Geographic, R. Lamar Whitmer, a Scottsdale, AZ developer has plans in place to build the Grand Canyon Escalade - a billion dollar development consisting of hotels, restaurants, and shops on the precipice of the Grand Canyon where the Colorado River and the Little Colorado fork. It is of the best interest of the United States of America to preserve not only the natural beauty of one of the wonders of the world, but the sacredness of the land of Native American Peoples. As a Caucasian American, I believe that we have developed and taken enough land from Native Americans already and allowing this development to occur is a disservice to ourselves and future generations.
