United States Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel has mentioned how the Department of Defense wants to cut housing allowance for the military. Such a move would put military pay below the US poverty level.
Some say "well you can just move on base." On the majority of bases housing is already in limited demands and some places have wait times in excess of 6+ months.
These cuts would cripple my family. We won't be able to afford our bills. Other families could very easily face foreclosure and end up out on the streets.
PLEASE MR OBAMA look out for us military families. Please don't hurt the families who fight for your freedom!
