Prevent employers from performing unnecessary and denying jobs to those with poor credit

Created by L.S. on May 13, 2014

There are many employers out there today that are are performing credit checks to determine if a person is qualified for a position. Good credit isn't a qualification for a job position. Credentials, skills, knowledge, and experience are! There are many individuals that are qualified and eager to regain employment, but are being denied employment due to a credit history gone south. There are people that have reasons for not being able to pay there bills on time, such as health/medical reasons preventing them from working, or have been unemployed for too long because of this issue. And there is the issue of fraud committed against them (money taken and left on the streets), and identity theft. It is time for the Senate, Congress, and the whole Obama administration to order a stop to this.
