The Do Not Call list was a welcome legislation, yet scam "charities" have been abusing it for decades as well to gain exceptions, and the government doesn't seem to care much about reigning such in. My petition is nowhere near trying to do much about that. My petition seeks to call upon the government to limit even exceptions ("charities", etc) to the Do Not Call list to not call prior to 8 am local time, or after 8 pm local time.
Charities and other exceptions should still not have the right to call at odd times if someone is on the Do Not Call list (or others, this should be total). Not in the morning, or in the evening. Yet they do. Yet they shouldn't, by law, hopefully. Stop waking people up. Stop disrupting dinner. It's pretty simple and righteous.
