On January 30, 2014, Amanda Knox was found guilty of murder by an Italian appeals court. This after a previous guilty verdict was overturned on appeal in 2011. There is clear and convincing evidence that Amanda Knox and her Italian friend Raffaele Sollecito are innocent, but were railroaded by a corrupt prosecutor and incompetent Italian court system. This sad tragedy just goes on and on. American foreign policy cannot supercede the freedom of an innocent American citizen. Under no circumstances should Amanda Knox be extradited to Italy, or in any way made to continue her suffering and persecution by this travesty of justice. Americans stand up for fellow Americans.
