Prevent Extremist Radicals getting Chemical Weapons In Syria By Providing Training and Arming Vetted Rebels

It has been two years and the civilian carnage is unacceptable. This is genocide. Most political analysts and Journalists have, from the very beginning, predicted what is becoming true. As war continues the radical elements with funding are gaining power while the secular rebels are sidelined. This trend will continue without intervention until Assad is gone and the radicals will control his weapons arsenal. Syria will eventually be free of the regime and and the country will be awash with weapons no matter what we do. As war goes on, without any alternative influence there will be even more extremist radicals and the potential for the West to be targets in the future is increased. It is a seriously risky situation for the U.S. to not have any influence in Syria. Most just want peace.
