prevent the FCC from changing their rules so that Rupert Murdoch can grab the Los Angeles Times and the Chicago Tribune.

Created by S.M. on November 19, 2012

Rupert Murdoch has, again, influenced the FCC to change its rules to legitimatize his illegal efforts to gain a monopoly of the American press and media thus ending any symbolence remaining of a free and unbiased press.

The FCC is a part of President Obama's Executive Branch. President Obama has the authority to stop this blatant power play simply by directing the FCC to not change the rules for Rupert Murdoch or any individual but to regulate the airwaves and print media in the best interest of the American people instead of the entrenched special interests.

We therefore request that President Obama take this simple step to prevent the acquisition by Murdoch of the Los Angeles Times and the Chicago Tribune and the further consolidation of our much threatened free press.
