Prevent FDA from allowing the addition of Aspartame to Milk

Created by A.S. on February 25, 2013

The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) and the National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF) are asking the FDA to allow them to add artificial sweeteners (specifically Aspartame) to flavoured milk without mentioning it on the label. This is a health risk to those allergic to the substance or those who wish to avoid it being in their or their children's diets.

Please prevent the addition of these additives. Milk does not need artificial sugars.

Aspartame has recently proven in a scientific study to increase the chance of diabetes by 33%. This is not a safe chemical.
