prevent the FDA from approving the petition from the dairy industry to add aspartame to milk.

The Dairy Industry has petitioned the FDA for approval of adding aspartame and/or other artificial sweeteners to milk without having to declare them on the ingredients list. We do not need added sweeteners to milk. Aspartame among other artificial sweeteners has been proven to be unhealthy for human consumption. Our children, the biggest milk drinkers in our country get more than the FDA's recommended amount of daily sugar, pushing more sugar into a heavily consumed product by children is detrimental to their well being. If anything, they need their own activists for pushing less sugar in commonly found foods they enjoy.
This petition is open to the public until the end of March, please gather enough signatures before then so it can reach Obama's desk.
