Gov. Rick Scott and the state of Florida are currently attempting to remove thousands of legal citizens from the state voter registration pool. Thousands of legal residents have already received letters demanding that they provide proof of legal status within 30 days. If they miss this window or are unable to do so, they will be immediately purged from all voting lists. This move disproportionately affects minorities, students, seniors, and traditionally-Democratic voters. The Department of Justice must intervene immediately to prevent this egregious attack upon the rights of Florida's voters!
