Prevent further deaths; halt the usage of sonar in areas populated by whales

Sonar used by the U.S. Military during defense exercises is solely responsible for the hundreds of deaths of whales and other marine mammals. Losing this large amount of sea life is and will further be a detriment to the underwater ecosystem. Halt the usage of sonar in areas populated by whales. Whales/marine mammals can be detected by using underwater listening devices, giving the U.S. Military the ability to conduct their exercises at a safe distance from sea life affected by sonar.
