Prevent government and businesses from recording and documenting a person's electronic activity

The purpose of this petition is to get government agencies and businesses and private organizations to stop recording, documenting, and logging electronic activity of people. The scale of privacy invasion is not worth the minimal security improvements. The goal of this petition is to make businesses, organizations, and agencies clearly express if they record, or document any activity electronic or elsewise. They would also have to give the people they intended to document or record the option to refuse being recorded. Upon expressing they are recording they would have to inform the purposes of recording the person(s). This would restore rights back to people that has been taken away.
