Prevent governmental corruption by setting a 2 Term Limit for all Federal Elected Offices

Created by S.E. on July 29, 2015

The Constitution of the United States limits the duration an individual can be President to 2 terms. This prevents the country from reverting to an effective monarchy where the same leader is in power for many decades and reduces the possibility of corruption and/or abuse of powers.

From the 22nd Constitutional Amendment:
"No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice..."

This important amendment should be extended to other federal elected offices for the same reason.

There are currently 36 Senators who have been in office for 30 years or more. Many Congressmen have enjoyed consecutive terms for 40 years or more.

If you believe we should finally put an end to career politicians and the corruption that accompanies them please sign this petition.
