I want to call on the major organizations on BOTH sides of the gun control argument to find a sensible and realistic agreement that will validate 2nd ammendment rights and keep our children and our families safe. The debate on gun control between 2nd ammendment die hards and advocates has become a stalemate. 80%+ incidents are sparked by personal distress or mental illness, as found for years by many publications. I suggest a policy of prevention, adopted by all groups concerned from government to public sectors to citizens. To simply take the weapons away is ignoring the root of the problem. It's a half solution. The substantial and stringent improvement in screening and on-going care is the most critical means of prevention. Greatness is measured in how you treat the weakest.
