Insurance companies have no problem raising the monthly amount in which they receive for insurance, but punish individuals for filing a claim. This would be the same as allowing cell phone companies to charge a monthly fee to insure a product, not repair the item and then cancel service because you used that very service to fix the issue. This should be illegal. Consumers should not have to pay every month for a service that receives punishment for use. The very word "Insurance" should mean that an individual is "insured" for payment received, not punished.
