Prevent the Intermountain Corridor Development Act of 2015 to be passed for the sake of the Southwestern Desert Ecology.

With a growing water crisis on the American southwest, the construction of Interstate 11 from Las Vegas to Phoenix has has more cons than pros. Despite providing a direct pathways to two of the thirtieth largest cities of the United States, I11 will pollute some of the United States cleanest air as well as consume the limited water resources of the state of Arizona. Another very important consideration includes the destruction of the very precious cryptobiotic soil crust. This biological soil crust is protecting the desert by holding soil down from wind and water erosion as well as collect pools of water for desert plants to flourish. The development of this highway will cause much of the unpopulated Arizona desert to be cemented over and destroy the microbiological communities present.
