We the people of the United States feel that in the spirit of Thomas Jefferson's separation of church and state, there should be laws prohibiting religious organizations from contributing to political campaigns or influencing government officials. This will allow for a true separation of church and state, and will help to eliminate political gridlock on the basis of religious dissent.
The interference of religous organizations in the government is the same as the government interfering with the church.
