prevent the loss of at-door postal delivery, make pension funding equal for all, never privatize our postal service

we, the people, demand that our constitutionally guaranteed postal service never be privatized. we demand repeal of the burdensome law requiring only the postal service and no other business or government agency to pre-pay retirement funds at a rate meant to bankrupt the service towards a for-profit, decreased service, more expensive alternative. this year 100% of postal service 'losses" were a direct result of this treacherous assault on our postal service. at-door delivery must be maintained! it is critical for security purposes as well as essential for the disabled and the elderly, who are often isolated. many people get food or medicine in the mail which could be stolen or damaged by heat or cold. the elderly and disabled may be injured or die trying to get mail especially in winter.
