Prevent Mass Murder Suspects/Attackers From Beccoming Celebrities Via Media Reporting

Created by G.C. on December 15, 2012

Immediately address the issue of the golirification and celbrification of mass attacks/murders through introduction of legislation in Congress making it illegal for media outlets to report the name and/or image of any alleged or actual attacker/murderers involved in such attacks. Only a generic "Male" attacker or "Female" attacker reference and a stock, generic male or female shadow type image to be used for all attacks (so no one becomes the "Batman Killer" etc.). All other details may still be reported withouth limitation. No restriction to be placed on media acccess to any suspect/attacker information, including their name and image. The only restriction is that they may not report the name nor show their pictures so that the murderer doesn't become "famous" and remains unremembered.
