Prevent media outlets from publishing names & pictures of mass shooting perpetrators, and focus on victims instead.

Created by S.H. on October 02, 2015

Media outlets constantly post names & pictures of mass shooters because it drives up ratings. It's also a major motivating factor in carrying out these crimes.

The OR shooter (name will not be mentioned), posted online days before the shooting that read: “His face splashed across every screen, his name across the lips of every person on the planet, all in the course of one day. Seems the more people you kill, the more you’re in the limelight.”

Let's take this desire of infamy away by outlawing the publication of names and pictures of the shooters by the media, for they benefit financially from this info. We must instill upon those who wish to carry out these acts that their names and faces will never be known, their actions only referenced by the names of the innocent lives lost.
