Mass shootings today are far more complex than just stating if we remove the guns, it will stop. There are many factors in play here. After every shooting the President comes on TV asking for gun control. How about some media control? Gun control is an issue the nation is very divided on. Let's start with something simple most Americans can get on board with like fining the media for glorifying these shooters. This is what these shooters want. To be in the limelight. Let's remove this motivation by creating a media blackout on the shooter. The FCC fines the media for cursing on live TV which takes less than 1 second, yet the media repeatedly displays pictures, highlights, backstory, of the shooters of these mass shootings. It's time for that to stop.
