The New Jersey Devils need to adapt better to the current NHL, namely using skill players above useless plugs and goons. The Devils should not re-sign the likes of Steve Bernier. It is also important that they use their second compliance buyout on either Bryce Salvador or Anton Volchenkov (using it on Salvador may be better due to the strained US-Russia relations at the present).
Additionally, Martin Brodeur, as great as he HAS been, must not be re-signed.
And please add a top-line left wing to play with Zajac and Jagr.
