New York City developer mogul Aby Rosen is planning to remove an extremely delicate Pablo Picasso stage curtain -- "Le Tricorne" -- from the wall where it has hung in the Seagram Building since 1959. The work is the largest Picasso painting in existence, other than the Spanish artist's famous "Guernica."
Preservationists have noted that Le Tricorne could "crack like a potato chip" and be destroyed should it be moved. Art is history and we should save it when we can.
