In my home state of NY people receiving welfare continue to have a child every 4-5 years in order to stay on welfare.
I did a college research paper on welfare in NY state. Everyone I interviewed said President Clinton caped food stamp benefits to five years. However if you continue to have a child every 4-5 years you can then receive food stamps for another 5 years. In NY unless they recently changed the law food stamps covers up to family of 8.
I am not saying the gov has the right to say you cant have a baby, but if you are on welfare and continue to have kids your saying YOU can support them without the government.
I asked that last question to the people I interviewed, and every one of them gave me dirty look and said this interview is over. Then they walked away.
