We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

To Prevent Pharmaceutical Companies from profiting off of life saving and or everyday medicine and treatments

Created by G.C. on August 23, 2016

Recently Mylan, the manufacturer of the life saving EpiPen raised the price by 400% preventing some individuals and or families from purchasing this much needed medicine. The Government should prohibit any and all pharmaceutical manufacturers from profiting off of these types of life saving and even everyday treatments that essentially mean life or death to the user. Furthermore, all pharmaceutical manufacturers should go through a lengthy approval process (just as lengthy as product approval) through the FDA or Higher Level to justify an increase in product price and the price increase should be incremental instead of all at once. Finally, price gauging for single source manufacturers should be illegal.
