Prevent predatory lending by enacting a law against certain profits made from high interest consumer level loans.

Created by Z.R. on August 14, 2012

On all loans with over 14.9% interest rates, this level of protection would seek to protect any consumer from becoming stuck in an endless cycle of debt by limiting the capitalization on unsecured, and certain secured loans. The provisions of this law would clearly state that:

"Any loan in which paid interest has exceeded the amount borrowed, that lender must immediately reduce the interest rate to a reasonable industry standard of 1.5%"
