Prevent rapists from seeking custody and visitation of any child resulting from their criminal act.

Protect helpless children from a sexual deviant and also protect rape victims from forced contact with the criminal through years of visitation and custody battles stemming from the act of rape. Please ban rapists from ever seeking contact with their victims or the children of the victims. Please do this on a federal level because 30 states do not protect the victims or their children from this as of 11/2012. Rapists generally serve very small sentences and are generally released in time to file for custody before the child is old enough to defend itself. In fact the reporting of the rape by a victim is often used as proof of paternity and is one reason victims often do not report the crime.
