Prevent release of illegal immigrants with major convictions to streets

Prevent the release of illegal immigrants with prior serious convictions from county jails to the streets. Many counties are facing a serious jail overcrowding problem and can not hold prisoners beyond the limits proscribed by local law. Many illegal immigrants with prior convictions for multiple sexual assaults or DUI are released because the federal government does not request a retainer and pick up the prisoner before he is released to the street. We need to deport serious repeat offenders and it make no sense at all to let them out of County custody and back on the streets.
