Prevent Royal Dutch Shell from drilling anywhere in the Arctic

Created by A.M. on July 31, 2015

We, the undersigned, urge the president to take the necessary actions to prevent Royal Dutch Shell and other oil companies from drilling in the Arctic. Science tells us that Arctic drilling poses a serious threat to the national and global environment, the safety of endangered wildlife such as the polar bear, the life quality of the people living in the arctic region, and that it would exacerbate the negative effects of climate change.

We the People urge President Barack Obama to hold true to his environmentally-friendly promises by taking immediate action to prevent Royal Dutch Shell from drilling in the Chukchi Sea this summer, and from drilling anywhere else in the arctic region that is within U.S territory.
