We ask that legislation be put into effect that prevents tests such as the PARCC exam from determining the graduation of American youth. Only thirteen states in the United States administered this test this year, but regardless as whole the use of standardized tests as a device which gauges whether a student can graduate is immoral. I, as many others recently took the test and it is far too advanced for the average student. WE SHOULD NOT be accountable for our lack of knowledge of the subjects on the test, our educators are fully responsible for our success on these tests. Schools use scare tactics and the threat of not getting a diploma as collateral forcing the students into stress and into the test. Our futures mustn't be placed in one test. Put America's students first.
