prevent states from stripping voting rights from ex-offenders, and reinstate voting rights for all citizens

As a Democracy, we are supposed to be a government by the people, for the people; we are also given the constitutional right of no taxation without representation. Citizens in certain states have been stripped of their constitutional right to vote because of being convicted of a crime, yet are supposed to stillpay taxes, and be affected by legislation and laws that we had no choice in deciding because we were denied our voice, even after paying our debt to society in serving our sentences. Please override any state legislation that violates our rights to vote as citizens of the United States, and reinstate the voting rights of ex-offenders.
