Prevent states, such as Indiana, from adding amendments to their Constitutions that ban same-sex marriage.

Created by C.G. on December 06, 2013

Although not everyone agrees on same-sex marriage, amendments such as HJR-6, in Indiana, will cause too many problems. Indiana's HJR-6 is only ONE PARAGRAPH, and is so vague that it even allows for domestic violence laws and common laws to be banned. That will effect heterosexual couples, as well. Furthermore, in Indiana and other states trying to add these amendments, are unnecessary, because those states already have laws that ban same-sex marriage; it is not unnecessary, then, to add that to the state constitution. Please join me in trying to eliminate these amendments before they ruin the foundation of our precious states.
