Port Authority is planning to increase tolls from $1 to $13 on the George Washington Bridge, Holland Tunnel, Lincoln Tunnel, Goethals Bridge, Bayonne Bridge and Outerbridge Crossing.
This will keep people inside Manhattan unable to leave the city.
They are trying to fun the $11 billion World Trade Center complex, which should have already had private investors of a separate nature that should have been able to pay for it up front.
Do not penalize the people in larger fares for projects multi-millionaires/billionaires initiated but can not afford.
Even leaving the city in an 18 wheeler is $75+ outbound. This is stupid, people can not afford the fares, and it will prevent more people from exiting the city of Manhattan because they can not afford to leave from the city
