Prevent Unintended Pregnancy And Provide Sexual Assault Health Care By Implementing The Prevention First Act Nationwide

Created by L.T. on September 24, 2011

Access to Reproductive Healthcare is absolutely vital to a woman's safety and well-being. Without access to contraceptives, STD testing & treatment, breast exams, pap-smears, pre & post-natal care and abortion/adoption information that is factually correct and unbiased and unrestricted, women cannot thrive and neither can their families.

It is proven that unintended pregnancies are best prevented by medically accurate and unbiased health information and unfettered access to birth control. The Prevention First Act, introduced in Ohio by Sen. Capri Cafaro and Rep. Nickie Antonio, provides all of the above as well as emergency contraception and STI information/testing to victims of sexual assault.

This moderate common-sense solution to our reproductive issues needs to be adopted nationwide.
