The United States should eliminate the possible plan of launching a pre-emptive nuclear strike against Iran in order to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons for the following reasons:
1. It is hypocritical to launch a nuclear strike while trying to prevent Iran from acquiring these weapons.
2. As being the only country to have ever used nuclear weapons against people, the United States has little moral right to prevent countries from acquiring nuclear weapons
3. It would be immoral to kill or wound innocent civilians.
4. While Iran's actions are discomforting, there is no tangible evidence that Iran is going to acquire nuclear weapons. It shall be 100% confirmed that Iran has acquired or is on the verge of acquiring nuclear weapons before any military action is used against Iran
